The Darkening Collection consists of two types of fabric groups: Blackout and Dimout.

The Blackout fabrics have 100% degree of darkening. A soft acrylate coating on the back ensures that no light can permeate the fabric. The coating is still soft to ensure that the fabric retains its flowing drape and textile feel.

The Dimout fabrics can achieve up to 99% of darkening, but do not have the layer of coating at the back, allowing for a softer drape. The fabric is constructed densely such that minimal light passes through. Because the fabric is presentable on both sides, it remains attractive on the outside of the window and can easily be used as a room divider. This collection is highly recommended for bedroom or hotel use.
